Just out here at Diablo park in New Jersey doing the slalom at the US open,
I qualified 16th yesterday and today have to race today.

Training to GO FAST!!!
Today I went out on an XC ride with World Cup racers Bryn Atkinson and Luke Strobel ...The ride was frickin sweet.. 1hour up followed by Loamy ,flowwy 30min DH and those two proceeded to destroy me up AND down the trail ...But Im feeling good now and I will be standing on a WORLD CUP PODIUM before you can say " Mcgazza just rides his bike off cliffs"......Ok ..Thats a lie.

Port Angeles DH race
So I had no plans for the weekend and my team mate and local ripper Kyle Thomas asked me if I wanted to go race with him ...I heard Port Angeles was a nice place and its been a while since I raced so I tagged along on the trip.
kyle insisted that I raced PRO class which was kinda nerve racking as I dont train for racing and I know all of those guys do!!
The track was pretty dam sweet ...fast as hell and nice corners and a few jumps all on tacky northwest dirt .
We practised all day sat and and raced on sunday , I qualified 14th in Pro but had a ave race run and ended up 18th ... whatever ..It was fun to hang out with the super friendly North west race crew and cut some MAD LAPS!
It was also coool to see some KIWI mates at the race ...Dodzy and Gabby were there and also Dan Sims and Matty P which stoked me out. KIWIS!!!

UNIT/DIAMONDBACK TRAILS SHOOT
The boys from UNIT CLOTHING showed up to film some clips of Me and my Diamondback/UNIT team mate Nate Birkheimer riding some siiiick Northwest trails..
There are some insane trails around here and we were so lucky hook up with the right people be able to ride them , massive thanks to all the crew that shovel massive amounts of dirt here in WA!
We had a bit of dicey weather but we had one sweet day of trail "roastin"
I guess an edit will be comin out soon ...should be coool.

Ranchstyle 2011- 3rd place.
I just got in from Ranchstyle 2011 in Grand Junction Colorado and what a siiiick weekend it was!
Ranch style is a slopestyle and dual slalom event held on a ranch just outside of Grand Junction , the set up out there is amazing! There are trails that wind all around the homestead there is a LEGIT dual slalom course the ducks in and out of trees with some biiig options jump wise that save you a lot of time.
But the main attraction for me was the slopestyle course … as soon as I showed up it was the first thing I checked out and I was really Impressed! Wooden structures all over the show fruit bowls ,drops ,lips and plenty of options when it comes to line selection . The thing that stoked me the most was some DECENT size jumps in the course some 35/40 ft dirt doubles . I love it when there are some big jumps in the course as it sets the men apart from the BOYS!
We practised all of Friday and I got the course all dialled in for Saturdays event .
The sun rose on Saturday morning and Porter and myself were up early for a photo shoot with our mate Justin Olsen on some cool Colorado trails then We headed to the course to get ready for the event … The crowd started rolling in and Bender was on the mic with a few beers under his belt pumping everyone up for the event…so Funny!
We kicked it off with a 45min Qualifying jam which cut the field in half , I gave it heaps and fired out some tricks on the big jumps and made the cut and advanced to the final which was a best of two runs format .
People were going pretty nuts and firing out some big tricks T MAC with a whip over the 40fter and a Double whip on a jump that was SO steep for how fast you were hitting it! Greg watts was ruling the course with his massive bag of tricks while Bender and Mike Metzger screamed on the mic!hahahha
My first run was money , I cracked a big ol flip table on the 35ft hip which stoked the hell out of me ! when everything was done and dusted I wound up in 3rd place !
We all headed home to drink beers and watch the supercross finals which were running in Vegas that night .
Next day was dual Slalom , I signed up and made it thru the first round but drew SLC shredder Mitch ropolato in the 2nd round …I gave him a dam good go ! just getting edged out by .6 of a second ..It was so fun and I will be hittin some more events this season for sure!
All up was a super radical weekend ,thanks to all involved!

Sno mobile'IN!!

Today Me and Eric Porter went out on the snow mobiles for a shred around some of wasatch mountains sweetest riding zones.
I have ridden Sno mobiles before but never back country riding.
if I lived here a snomobile would be one of the first things I brought! it was so much fun rippin thru the snow and trees and gettin bounced around allover the show!

I had a sick day riding some sick jumps in Utah today , it was so sick , everyone was riding sick , did i mention it was sick??
Seriously now...it was rad . The trails were running sweet and there were so many lines to choose from! BOOM ! TRAILS ! I love that shizz!

Upside down and UNDERGROUND JAM!
I have just been at The Upside doawn and underGround jam here in Bend , Oregon.
The comp is held at jamie Goldmans house
The weather turned out amazing today and the jumps were Hella fun , there was a good size crew that turned up to ride from USA and Canada and every one just rode most of the day and then we had a comp in the late arfo ..
The whole thing was super chill and a great no pressure vibe , I was stoked on it. mitch chuuubbzz ended up takin the win with some pretty wild riding !
It was a super good way to kick off the comp season
now im off to Utah in the morning(11 hour drive!! EEEEWWW!) and then onto
Colorado for the Ranchstyle comp ...yeeeehaaa!
